Important Details in Preparation for the Workshop:

• Please attend all four workshop sessions scheduled after the 8:30 AM OR 10:30 AM Sunday worship service in order to maximize your learning.

• If unable to commit to all four sessions, another workshop will be given in the future.

• Be ready to commit at least one hour per day during the week to prepare for each class.

• The bulk of the learning and memory work is done in between sessions.

• Each class will have a short input session. The remaining time will be spent sharing what you've learned from memory with another person or two in breakout groups.

• Guidance and coaching will be given by the PEW team.

Pre-work: God's Story - The 9 Bridge Illustration Verses

• When you sign up, study and memorize the nine (ESV) Scriptures below that compose the structure of the gospel Bridge Illustration, in sequence.

• You should be able to write down and recite all 9 verses from memory (both reference and text) on Day 1.

• Printed copies of the 9 Scriptures are available at the Discipleship Desk or the Info Desk.

Romans 3:23: “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Ephesians 2:8-9: “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

1 Peter 3:18: “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,”

John 14:6: “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

John 1:12: “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God”

John 5:24: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.”

John 6:47: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.”
