For this is what the Lord has commanded us:
“I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”

ACTS 13:47

Vision

A world transformed by Jesus’s perfect love, compassion, and grace.

Mission

The UCM Missions and Benevolence  Ministry walks in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
• Supporting the church as a caring, servant-hearted community
• Sharing the Gospel with those near and far
• Joyfully serving Him in every unique opportunity He provides

We exist to embody Christ’s love in action, offering hope, help, and healing wherever He leads.

HOW WE ACCOMPLISH OUR MISSION

The Missions and Benevolence Ministry expresses UCM's calling as a caring servant community by:

• PARTNERING WITH CHRISTIAN DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS
We support ministries that serve the unreached, the marginalized, and the vulnerable locally and globally.

• EQUIPPING FUTURE CHRISTIAN LEADERS
Through scholarships, we invest in students of Christian ministerial schools, preparing them for faithful and fruitful service.

• MOBILIZING THE UCM COMMUNITY
We organize hands-on mission opportunities with our partner organizations, inviting the UCM family to serve, learn, and grow together in Christ.

As part of our Missions Celebration, we will be praying for the remaining frontier people groups in the Philippines. We invite you to come pray with us via Zoom:

SEPT 9: Iranun / 16: Maguindanao / 23: Jama Mapun Bajau Kagayan /

ACTIVITIES

M&B actively organizes volunteer-based activities. People of UCM are introduced to various ministry partners through visits and interaction. These activities open opportunities for volunteerism, fellowship, and sharing Christ’s love and compassion.

TIME FOR OTHERS

WITNESSING THROUGH SERVICE AND FELLOWSHIP

The  Ministry actively organizes volunteer-based activities that connect the UCM community with our mission partners. Through site visits and prayers,  fellowships, events, and hands-on service, members are introduced to the work of various Christian organizations serving the unreached, the marginalized, and the vulnerable.
These experiences open doors for:

• Volunteerism — meaningful service alongside our church community and  partners
• Fellowship — building relationships across ministries and cultures
• Compassionate Witness — sharing Christ’s love in word and deed

MOMENT IN MISSIONS

INSPIRING TESTIMONIES OF MISSION

Each  month during Sunday worship, UCM features a Moment in Missions—a brief testimony or update
that highlights the work of one of our mission partners. These moments inspire the congregation, deepen awareness, and invite prayerful support for God’s work beyond our walls.

MISSIONS FAIR

GETTING  TO KNOW UCM’S MINISTRY PARTNERS

Every Sunday in September, stories of faith and service fill the Fellowship Hall. The Missions Fair invites and encourages the community to meet our partner organizations, explore their work, and discover ways
to get involved in sharing Christ’s love with the world.

The fair creates and develops a welcoming space for meaningful connection between
our mission partners and the congregation.

Through heartfelt conversations, inspiring stories, and shared vision, the Missions Fair calls the UCM community to engage with our partner organizations, extend their support, and discover meaningful ways to participate in God’s mission of love and restoration.

SEPTEMBER IS MISSIONS CELEBRATION MONTH AT UNION CHURCH OF MANILA.
Watch the profile videos and get to know our Missions Partners better.
To connect with any of the partners, visit Christian Development Organizations
and Christian Ministerial Schools.

SCHOLARS' FELLOWSHIP

INVESTING IN FUTURE CHRISTIAN LEADERS

Each year, UCM hosts a special gathering of scholars and leaders from theological seminaries and Christian schools—a time of fellowship, shared testimony, and mutual encouragement in the journey of faith.
In this spirit of connection, UCM continues to support scholars from various institutions, helping to train and equip missionaries, teachers, and ministers for faithful service in the church and beyond.
Through prayer, partnership, and provision, we help nurture the next generation of gospel workers in love and action.

VISION SCREENING

SCREENING FOR INDIGENT CHILDREN

In partnership with medical professionals headed by a UCM member, we visit local schools to conduct free vision screenings for children from indigent families. Through this compassionate initiative, we identify students with visual impairments and provide them with prescription eyeglasses—at no cost to their families. Each pair of glasses is a gift of clarity,  dignity,  and opportunity,  empowering children to learn, participate, and thrive.

This outreach reflects our commitment to holistic care and community upliftment, ensuring that no child is left behind due to preventable vision challenges.

CHRISTMAS-GIVING PROJECT

BLESSING PASTORS AND THE MARGINALIZED
Every year,  the Missions & Benevolence Ministry organizes a Christmas-Giving Project which we call
"LOVE IN A BAG" to share gifts to the unreached and marginalized and  pastors serving in churches throughout the Philippines. It is our way of honoring their dedication and spreading the joy of Christ’s birth
and bringing hope where it is needed most.
