Do you often find yourself focusing on your weaknesses instead of your strengths?
God has uniquely designed each of us with strengths that point us toward fulfilling our purpose in bringing him glory. Your S.H.A.P.E. – your Spiritual Gifts, Heart (motivation), Abilities, Personality, and Experiences – is directly tied to God’s purposes working in and through your life.
Based on the Purpose Driven Ministry of Saddleback Church, the S.H.A.P.E.d for Service Retreat will help you discover God’s unique purpose for your life based on how he has shaped you.
S.H.A.P.E. provides a series of reflective exercises that will guide you through the process of uncovering your personal blend of the following:
Spiritual Gifts The special abilities that God has given you to share his love and serve others
Heart The unique passions God has instilled in you so you can glorify him on earth
Abilities The particular talents God gave you when you were born, which he wants you to steward in alignment with his purposes
Personality The distinctive way God wired you to navigate life and fulfill your unique kingdom purpose
Experiences The various parts of your past, both positive and painful, that God intends to use in significant ways.
Discover how to apply your personal attributes in ways that bring confidence, freedom, clarity, and significance — qualities that can only come from your Creator.
COST: Php 300 per person Lunch will be provided.
Event General Info
Families are important to us; however, this event is recommended for adults aged 18 and older. We respectfully ask that parents, including nursing infants and toddlers, refrain from bringing children to the event venue. If a teenager between the ages of 16 and 18 wishes to attend, they may do so with parental permission and in the company of a responsible adult. We encourage parents to assess their child's spiritual and emotional maturity before sending them to the retreat.
By registering for a UCM Discipleship Ministry event, you grant UCM the right to photograph, webcast, telecast, record, reproduce, duplicate, print, and sell audio or video recordings. At their discretion, UCM reserves the right to use all testimonials, audio/video recordings, and photographs taken at the event.
Event Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your registration, please contact the Discipleship Ministry by privately replying to this email (discipleship.ac@unionchurch.ph).
We regret to inform you that no refunds or transfers are available before or after the event start date. However, you may re-register for the next session at no additional cost.
